Mr. Bill – IRL (Exclusive One Day Pre-Release) [Glitch//IDM]

It’s always interesting to see what’s happening with music in different parts of this massive and eclectic world we live in. Australia certainly has shown a lot of talent from intelligent electronic producers with the likes of Flume, Opiuo and Blunt Instrument. Another name that definitely deserves recognition when talking about the electronic scene in the great Down Under is Mr. Bill, who will actually be blessed enough to catch performing at Infrasound Music Festival 2014 this Summer.

The official release of Mr. Bill’s latest album, IRL, is not actually until next Friday, March 21st. However, for today (March 14th) only, you can stream and grab the release a week early through SectionZ Records‘ Bandcamp. This is just an opportunity that’s too good to pass up: not only the ability to stream the album in its entirety, but also get the files all to yourself for constant listening pleasure an entire week early.

Mr.. Bill, like the other Australian producers previously, is always putting 100% into his production and composition. This effort shines through consistently in the product of tracks that are truly unique and interesting beginning to end. The record features a broad assortment of influences, including glitch, glitch-hop, downtempo and drum & bass. And remember, get it today or forever hold your peace (well, hold it for another week at least)!
