It’s time to get back to that journey. With the rapidly approaching release of the Dynasty EP, we are also rapidly getting more and more eager. It’s hard not too though when KOAN Sound is doing such an amazing job of helping us get excited for the release. After teasing our tastebuds with the full EP preview, they then followed it up with the release of “Dynasty”, the EP’s title track. It seems that all still wasn’t enough. We now have “Lost in Thought”, the record’s second single. While “Dynasty” featured a heavy-hand of instrumental input, it also revisited some more classic-sounding KOAN Sound glitchy bass techniques we didn’t hear from the Sanctuary EP. “Lost in Thought”, however remains true to a much instrumentally-reliant sound. Initially introducing a gorgeous synth layer, the track delves into a jazzy groove featuring piano and a drum beat that’s to die for.
