Event Preview: The Royal Noise (Album Release Party!) w/ Flux Capacitor @ MilkBoy [Sat. 05.10]

We don’t call ourselves Funkadelphia for just any old reason. Boy, oh boy, do we like to get funky. It doesn’t matter if it’s getting down to some crunchy beats or a grooving band. If someone’s bringing the funk, especially here in Philadelphia, you can sure as heck count on us being there. For a lot of people the school year is finally coming to an end, and with festival season just around the corner (or possibly already underway for some of you) it’s about that time to let loose.

What better way to celebrate a shared love for the funk than with a local band. A local band on the cusp on releasing a brand new album no less. This Saturday come on out and get down with us as we prepare ourselves for the tickling new rhythms of The Royal Noise. The Philadelphia band is set to release their new album, This Is the Funky Part (I know, what a title right?!), just one week from today on May 13th. The even better news is that you can catch the group performing live at MilkBoy this Saturday, May 10th, alongside a fellow funky Philadelphia favorite: Flux Capacitor. And you can definitely count on hearing some fresh new grooves off the new record. Not only that, but buying a ticket gets you more than just in the door. Every attendee of Saturday’s show will also receive a code for a FREE download of The Royal Noise’s new album. So leave the excuses at home, and let’s get funky Saturday night!
