Isqa makes his Funkadelphia debut with his release of Melancolor, an incredible blend of unique dubstep and glitch hop sound from a fairly new face to the scene. Although new, he certainly hasn’t had a slow start. After beginning to experiment with electronic music in mid-2012, he released his debut album Tetraform in June of 2013 and went on to win Protohype’s remix contest for “Fly.” Now with the release of this EP through DUSTLA, Isqa has certainly hit the ground running with two albums, a remix contest win, and multiple other remixes and collaborations in about two years time. Melancolor features some really unique basslines and melodies, some pretty massive drops, and overall just some really impressive audio engineering. We expect a lot more releases of this caliber form this kid, he is only getting started.
