It seems like the summer of 2014 is going great for most people. At least, everyone seems to be in a great mood. It’s hard not to be, with a massive spread of amazing events and incredible new releases. Today we’ve got a brand new one from one of Philadelphia’s finest, Jack Deezl. After releasing his new Reclaimer EP, and launching the new True Wave party at Goldilocks Gallery with a successful inaugural party this month, Deezl’s back with a new bootleg re-imaging of the already twisted “Apocalypse Dreams” from psychedelic rock band Tame Impala. Drew Mercadante (aka Jack Deezl) manages to pour his own creatively weird ideas into the track through a glitch and hip-hop lens. The result is a spacey, dreamy, bassed out remix with plenty of its own psychedelic flare.

Jack Deezl will also be joining us at Funkadelphia’s Funky Town Stage at F.A.R.M. Music & Arts Festival 2014 for a late night set!
