People can get pretty nit-picky about genres these days, but this is one release I wouldn’t touch with a thirty-nine and a half foot pole. Lost most of the bass music we’ve heard come out of Australia so far, Crazy Daylight exhibits a completely original perspective on bass music. His sound blends elements of mid-tempo, glitch-hop, neuro-hop in such a unique manner its deserving of its own label- I’m just not going to be the one to try to give it.
Although there’s only three tracks here, each one packs quite a whallop. The diversity from song-to-song, in sound and beat, is what makes this release so hard to nail down. Crazy Daylight has gathered three tracks so fit together, even though it’s a bit difficult to say just how they manage to do so.
