As predicted, 2015 is already off to a tremendous start with tons of new releases already pouring out. If you’ve still got some travelling to do, or even if you’ve just got an hour or two to kill, we’ve got plenty of delightful new mixes for you this week ranging from heavy bass noise to more elegant, mellow grooves, and the whole in between. Kicking us off is master of horror, Figure with a new mini mix to get us excited for his Monsters Remixes Vol. 2 EP, which drops January 15th. Featrued on the new EP are remixes from Twofold, Downlink, Midnight Tyrannosaurus, Dack Janiels, LUMBERJVCK and BlackMask.

It’s starting to hit a rather chilly point here in Philadelphia, so we’re trying to combat the cold with some warm, tropical beats. First is Boehm, who just served up this radiant new mix of his favorite tropical tunes from 2014 as the newest installation of The Dancing Pineapple‘s “Sweet & Sunny” Mixtape series. The Romanian DJ and producer has a glowing library of groovy tracks to keep the winter cold away.
If you’re looking to keep it funky after that last one, then Treasure Fingers has got just what you need. The Atlanta producer has always been keen on freshly minimal funky beats, born out of an all around musical understanding that has led him from the drum & bass destruction of Evol Intent to his own airy, groovy, solo production.
Time to speed things up, way up, with Reid Speed‘s first installment in the new “Speed of Sound” podcast series, titled “Drum & Bass for 2015”. The Play Me Records owner lays down a full hour of deep bass tremors curled over ceaselessly jostling drums. With an impeccable selection of tunes, Reid Speed absolutely decimates this mix.
While Antyx is typically crunching away at his own house production or locked behind the decks kicking the same style, he turns his eye on bass music for his latest mix. The Philadelphia DJ and producer takes the opportunity to show is polished mixing skills are far more versatile than you even might think.

Former Philadelphia DJ and producer Dubsef returns in 2015 with the second installment in his annual “All Ur Bass R Belong 2 Us” mix series (listen to last year’s mix HERE). The new mix pulls together a non-stop two hours of electrifying bass tracks from the past year, jumping through everything from dubstep to trap, moombahton and electro.
