Phutureprimitive is a musician who has continued to redefine bass music since the dawn of his career. Starting back in 2004, Phutureprimitive continues to release new material to this day, providing new and innovative sounds in every song.
This can be seen in Phutureprimitive’s album Kinetik, released in 2011, starting by easing our minds with a smooth, ambient introduction leaving the listener in a calm, meditative state. This doesn’t last for long as the album quickly transitions into a frenzy of dark growls over soft, melodic undertones. The entire album seems to follow this pattern, leaving the mind at ease one second and firing all receptors in the brain the next.
Phutureprimitive does an excellent job of capturing emotion with every note of every song, leaving us with what can only be described as a pure gem of 2011. Come see Phutureprimitive put this talent to action with Shpongle (Simon Posford) this Saturday, April 4th, at the Electric Factory. Full event details and tickets HERE.
