Trap and future bass have both been undergoing constant evolution over the past few years. The genres exploded to the forefront of the electronic music scene in the early 2010’s, and ever since, haven’t really left. This is probably because there are so many producers constantly rising to the challenge of keeping these sounds original and interesting to fans.
Both Saturate Records and upcoming producer Shlump have been key players in this effort. The UK based label has been home to non-stop delectable future bass releases from some of the genre’s most inventive minds. Shlump now joins an arsenal of producers further including G Jones, Bleep Bloop, Herobust, and countless others. Moreover, he stacks up. His new album, Alien Shit, is Shlump’s most concise and refined work to date. By now, the California producer’s sound has been well established, yet his latest records finds plenty of new footing.
