Lettuce – “Madison Square (Space Jesus Remix)” | FREE DL

by Kyle Taylor |

We were sad to say goodbye to New York (and once Philadelphia) producer Space Jesus a few weeks ago as he made what was admittedly the logical pilgrimage to Colorado to settle into a new home. Of course this was a double-edged sword, as the transplant will more than likely mean more wide-spread success and reception for the intrusively psychedelic bass producer. Moreover, with already well-established fan bases in both Philadelphia and New York City, it seems a sure shot that Space Jesus will make the return to his east coast home very soon.

Still, the loss of Jasha Tull (Space Jesus) has left a real feeling of absence. So many impressive psychedelic electronic artists call the northeast home, yet Tull was a clear leader in the still unfolding movement. So, it is with tremendous glee that we share with our readers today a new remix from the hip hop basstronaut. Recently procured by the Good Looks Collective in New York City, Space Jesus has lent his hand to a fellow Good Looks artist, and fellow New York City artist: Lettuce. The track itself, “Madison Square”, further pays homage to the producer’s former hometown city and is the perfect parting gift from Space Jesus as he waves his final farewell to The Big Apple.
