It isn’t everyday, but every once in a while a tune hits that perfect sweet spot that it’s absolutely obligatory for us to share on Funkadelphia. Colorado producer Stone Soul is busting out some serious funk on his new single, “Chasing Dreams”. The track pulls out some blasting horns that really lay the foundation for this groovy track. On top of that, Stone Soul brings in some chopped up vocals (of course including the obligatory Biggie sample); a minimal, but extremely groovy bass line; and plenty of other funky instrumentation in the form of angelic organ samples and some gripping guitar lines.
